For over 50 years, award-winning Swiss design brand, USM Modular Furniture, has been appreciated globally as a symbol of adaptability, durability and timeless style. Now, USM is making waves across Africa, from its new home at Magicode’s newly-opened showroom in Dunkeld West, Johannesburg.
“USM is a Swiss family furniture company with a global presence, and we’re pleased to be able to showcase this exceptional product to customers in search of fine design in South Africa and across the rest of the African continent,” says Keith Jones, operations officer, at Magicode (the sales partner for USM in Africa).
Earlier this month, Magicode launched a new collection of USM Modular Furniture at their showroom. Demonstrating how truly versatile USM Modular Furniture is, the exhibition includes a wardrobe, coffee table, plasma unit, work stations, height adjustable table and more.
As part of the collection, pieces of furniture with USM Haller E technology are on display. USM Haller E incorporates discreet and streamlined lighting features into the very frame of the furniture. This is the first time this technology has been displayed in Africa.
“Our showroom is the ideal place to get to know more about USM, be inspired by innovative configurations and latest updates, as well as to work with our specialists to design bespoke residential or commercial spaces,” Jones continues.
USM Modular Furniture has a clear, but understated appearance – it is a style that leaves a distinct impression. USM furniture is not only featured in a collection within the Museum of Modern Art in New York but it is also recognised as a work of applied art.
